According to the IAGD constitution, elections for the Board of Directors for 2011 are to be held in November.
Here is the schedule of dates for the election:

Following are the dates of the IAGD Board of Directors Election 2011 process:
Sunday, July 31, 2011 Cutoff date for membership to be eligible to vote.
Monday, October 31, 2011 Last date for Election Committee to receive nominations.
(A photograph and a brief bio-data and personal statement, not exceeding 80 words, about their IAGD BOD candidacy is required from all candidates along with the nomination form.)
Wednesday, November 2, 2011 Verify candidates’ membership with Membership
Committee.
Monday, November 7, 2011 Last date for candidates to withdraw from election.
Thursday, November 10, 2011 Ballots will be mailed to eligible members, along with candidates’ photographs and personal statements.
Saturday, November 12, 2011 Candidates will be introduced to the community at the IAGD November monthly dinner.
Saturday, December 3, 2011 Last date (post mark) to receive ballots.
Friday, December 9, 2011 Ballots will be counted at IAGD.
Saturday, December 10, 2011 Election results will be announced at the IAGD December monthly dinner and General Body meeting.
The nominations must be made using the Nomination Form, properly filled out with required signatures of IAGD Members.
After the nominations are received, all communication with the Election Committee must be made by sending an e-mail to all three members of the Election Committee to ensure
transparency. The e-mail addresses for the Election Committee members are:
