IAGD CAC Islamic Art Contest

IAGD is holding an Islamic Art contest for all ages!  

• Submissions can be of any dimension, size, or medium but must be related to Islam in some way. 
• A typed short explanation of the artwork (1 page max), along with the artist's name and contact information, must be included with the artwork.  The explanation should include what the artwork is about and what inspired the contestant to make it. 
• Judging will be based on the explanation provided, the artwork itself, and overall creativity.  
• Artwork must be original, should not be rolled or folded, and it must be dry before submitting it.
• Submissions should be brought to the IAGD social hall between 5pm-6pm on Saturday, May 1. 
• The winner will be awarded $100 if there are a minimum of five entries, and entries will be displayed at the IAGD dinner the same night.  If this artist is not present at the dinner, the prize will be given to the individual who placed second, and so on.
