From The Holy Quran

This is the Book in which there is no doubt. It is a guide for those who are God-conscious, who believe in the unseen, who establish prayer and spend in charity out of what We have provided for their sustenance; and who believe in this revelation (the Quran) that is sent to you (O Muhammad) and the revelations that were sent before you, and firmly believe in the Hereafter. They are on true guidance from their Lord, and they are the ones who will attain salvation." (2:2-5)

From Hadith:

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) who said: The Messenger of Allah (saw), said: "Look upon one who is below you in status and do not look upon one who is above you in status. In this way you will not look down upon the grace that Allah has bestowed upon you." (Bukhari/Muslim)

Membership - Monday, February 22, 2010

The Membership Committee would like to remind you that your IAGD membership must be renewed for the year 2010. IAGD membership expires at the end of each calendar year and needs to be renewed at the beginning of the next year. Regular membership dues are $300 per family and $150 for individual members for the year 2010. Regular Members have voting privileges as provided in the IAGD Constitution. All membership fees must be paid in full by July 31 of each year to maintain full voting rights. New or current Check-o-matic donors must keep in mind that if your check-o-matic donation is less than $25.00 per month, the full amount of your membership fee must be received by July 31, 2010 (if not via check-o-matic, then by cash or check noted as membership dues, to make up the difference) if you wish to exercise your voting privileges. Your membership is automatically renewed if your monthly check-o-matic donation has been $25.00 or more per month, during the past 12 month period of 2009 and you continue to maintain the same check-o-matic donation for the current year. Please make your check payable to IAGD. Write “Membership 2010” and your “IAGD # “ in the memo for reference. Your IAGD # is printed on the mailing label of IAGD news letter. Membership forms are available on the IAGD website and also at the IAGD office.
