Please remember to pay your Zakat ul Fitr early, during the first couple weeks of Ramadan This will allow the IAGD Zakat Committee team to distribute your Zakat amount to the needy Muslims, thus giving them an opportunity to better prepare and celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. The responsibility of collecting and distributing the Zakat ul Fitr is a very critical. The members of the Zakat committee have to ensure that your money reaches the deserving and needy Muslims in time to make their celebration of the Eid holiday, a reality.

If you delay paying the Fitr till the day of Eid, you are missing the important significance of your contribution. So, please do not wait till the last day.
