Fall 2007 Courses

The brief description of the Arabic language course ASL091 is as following.

• An Introductory course (I) tailored for (True beginners) to cover:
• Introducing Arabic from a historical and cultural (particularly Islamic) Perspective
• Basics of Arabic sound and writing systems, with special emphasis on Qur’anic script.
• Functional oral and written drills are introduced to develop basic linguistic skills relevant to this level through limited vocabulary and simple sentence structures.
